ChartAI ("the App") is developed and operated by Happy App Lab. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use ChartAI on iOS or Android.

By downloading or using ChartAI, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application from your device.

a) Camera & Photos

ChartAI requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to allow you to capture or select financial chart images for AI analysis. Chart images you submit are sent to our secure AI processing server for analysis and are not stored permanently on our servers. Images are processed in real time and discarded immediately after the analysis result is returned to your device.

b) Device Identifier

We collect a unique device identifier (on iOS: identifierForVendor; on Android: Android ID) to manage your free credit quota, prevent abuse, and associate your usage with your subscription status. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

c) Usage Data & Analytics

We may collect anonymized usage data such as app session duration, feature interactions, and crash reports to improve app performance and user experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

d) Subscription & Purchase Data

When you purchase a premium subscription, payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment card details. We receive anonymized purchase confirmation data from RevenueCat to verify your subscription status.

e) Language & Locale

We collect your device language setting to deliver analysis results in your preferred language. This data is used only for localization and is not stored beyond the duration of your analysis request.

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information unless you contact us directly.
• We do not collect, store, or transmit biometric data, facial geometry, or any sensitive personal data.
• We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not access your contacts, messages, or any other apps on your device.
• We do not store your chart images permanently on our servers.

• To process your chart image and generate an AI-powered technical analysis report.
• To manage and verify your subscription or free credit quota.
• To deliver analysis results in your preferred language.
• To improve the accuracy and reliability of our AI analysis engine.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive usage.
• To respond to your support requests or feedback.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

ChartAI integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its functionality. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

ChartAI requests the following device permissions:

• Camera Access: To allow you to take a photo of a financial chart directly within the app for AI analysis.
• Photo Library Access: To allow you to select an existing chart screenshot from your device's photo library.

These permissions are used exclusively for the stated purpose. We do not scan, index, or access any other photos on your device. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's system settings.

• Chart images: Not retained. Deleted immediately after analysis is returned.
• Analysis results: Stored locally on your device only. We do not store your results on our servers.
• Device identifier: Retained for the duration of your use of the app to manage quotas and subscriptions. Deleted upon account or data deletion request.
• Anonymized usage data: May be retained for up to 12 months for analytics purposes.

When you uninstall the application, all locally stored data is removed from your device.

ChartAI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete such information promptly.

We implement industry-standard technical and administrative safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

1. The right to know whether your personal data is being processed.
2. The right to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
3. The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
4. The right to request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
5. The right to object to or restrict the processing of your personal data.
6. The right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
7. The right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
8. The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

These rights apply under applicable regulations including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where relevant.

• ChartAI offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly and annual plans).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by law.
• Unused portions of a free trial, if offered, are forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of ChartAI after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
